Absolutely Wicked

Can only say I was so thoroughly impressed by the musical Wicked that when Étáin suggested we go see it a second time, it took all of a nanosecond for me to say yes!
And boy was it worth it.
Of course we made sure to get absolutely super seats in the stalls (on the ground floor, level to the stage), being able to practically see up Idina Menzel's nostrils.

I don't know, maybe it's just us two crazy hosties, but it really is a good show. I think a good indicator of this is how we couldn't stop singing tunes from it in the back galley for a whole 4 hours to Beirut. Of course that's not the first time, we did a Tbilisi trip shortly after seeing it the first time round, and that was even worse (or better, whichever way you choose to look at it).
On that flight I truly think the passengers thought we were a pair of total loonies. As if that doesn't happen often enough...

Anyhow, word has it our beloved Idina is quitting the role of Elpheba (the Wiched Witch of the West, the green one) on Dec.27th, so for goodness' sake, get yourself over to Apollo Victoria and see her before it's too late.
And for your information, Étáin and I showed up 30mins before it started and got the best seats around! Well worth trying.
