I was well and truly happy, but not surprised, to find out the fabulous but controversial Silvía Nótt (Silvia Night) was selected to represent Iceland in this year's Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Athens at some point in May.
I personally love her, and it's a shame most of her stuff can't be translated into English properly as they lose their meaning all too terribly.
I have however made an honest try to force her upon my housemates and other friends, but sadly none of them seem to get her sheer brilliance, except for Konstantinos who looks beyond the language barrier to see how funny she is, if only for he faces she pulls!
Must say though, I am a fan of the Eurovision, the month of May just wouldn't be the same without it, but I won't start just yet, it's only just passed into March.

Helsinki, Lebanese nuts, Vanilla candles, Kyrgyz wool slippers, Hyatt hotels and Patchi chocolate.

Who is this Silvía Nótt? I suppose I must wait til May to find out.
I'm a fan of vanilla yogurt (well on the fatty side), old-fashioned red-white-blue striped envelopes, and big celebrity sunglasses.

já Silvía Night is allright! yeah...hehehe, en húmorinn er svo local að það er erfitt að útskýra hana. En taktarnir í henni eru náttúrulega bara magnaðir einir og sér. Ég er aðdáandi: Palla, lopa, lundans, katta og hvolpa (og stundum hunda), súkkulaðis, íss, íss með súkkulaði, Redfern (hehe), Oslóar, íslensku náttúrunnar, snjós, Sevilla, kántrítónlistar, te, Gumma, barna, og reyndar fjölskyldunnar allrar (ein með smá heimþrá), og súkkulaðis, íss, páskaeggja, vatnsdeigbolla, og kýrgísku(hvernig skrifar maður þetta?) inniskónna sem þú gafst mér í haust. Við Gummi erum ALLTAF í þeim:) Rosalega er erfitt að skrifa orð í eignarfalli. Þetta er léleg íslenska hjá mér.... bæjóóóó
