Lordy lordy, like how long has it been since I jotted something down on this site?... humm.
Anyhow, I strongly urge people that read this (if anyone does at all) to please comment on my posts if you feel I'm being lazy at writing new stuff. Most of the time I just need a good kick in the butt to get meself going.

Life's pretty easy going at the moment, work as usual, and I've done my fair share of going out in the last week. 3 out of 7 days isn't bad at all, although I'm still tired from all the late night partying, both here at home and in Beirut.

Speaking of Beirut.
Can't really think of many words to describe the place, but I'll try:
-Fantastic
-Gorgeous, friendly people
-Amazing day- and nightlife
-FABULOUS

Yes, I guess you can tell that I'm thoroughly impressed by the place. This is where my last two trips have been to, and the city gets more fascinating every time.
It's kindof hard to describe, but even though there are modern highrises next to abandoned gargantuan concrete hotels that have have an incredible amount of bullet holes and bombed large holes here and there on their sides just about everywhere, I still manage to find the place utterly fascinating.
Ok, in fact some parts of Beirut are so new that it's just Disney-like how squeeky polished it looks, but that's in large part due to the late Mr. Harriri's commitment tp restore the city, and he has managed it very well. So it didn't really come as a surprise when nearly the whole country went out onto the streets to mourn his killing, and subsequently push the Syrians out of the country.
In the newly published Wallpaper* Navigator (Issue 03), Beirut's one of the city's they guide you through, in typical superficial Wallpaper* style. Still makes for an interesting read. From the beforementioned publication:
"With its combination of fine dining, dance-till-you-drop nightlife, a vibrant arts scene... Beirut's blossoming".
